Seven Cruelty-Free Foundations For The Brides-To-Be

As I promised in my previous post, I have come today with another important ritual for a bride-to-be is the shopping of makeup products. This is the first part where I am saying about foundation. which is a must buy for every bride. Though, it will be useful for every beautiful girl. Here, I am going to mention those brands who sells only  cruelty-free products. Being an animal lover I don’t ever use or recommend you to use the products those are tested on our furry friends. Now let me talk about foundations.

INGLOT COSMETICS HD COVERUP FOUNDATION:

This hypoallergenic foundation provides long-lasting coverage and conceals discoloration or any other imperfections. It is ideally suited for natural looking makeup, giving full coverage. Though it is ideal for weddings, it may not for the day-to-day use. The foundation is best set with powder. For everyday use, I recommend Kryolan Ultra Fluid foundation. Kryolan foundations have a wide range of shades to suit each and every skin tone.

GERI G. INNOCENT FOUNDATION:

The brand is founded by renowned Hollywood makeup artist Geri Giagnorio. All of their products are vegan and cruelty-free. It was introduced to me by Fab bag. This weightless foundation provides a sheer and moderate coverage giving a natural matte finish and a healthy look. Actually, the foundation cares for overall skin health too. It can be blended easily and covers the imperfections effectively. The foundation evens the skin tone and stays for long hours. Its 30 ml plastic bottle is user-friendly.

SHAHNAZ HUSAIN SAFFRON ENRICHED MATTE MOUSSE FOUNDATION:

 

This foundation provides a pure matte look giving the skin a flawless look. It conceals pores and fine lines, imparting a healthy glow, tones the skin and leaves it soft and moisturized with a porcelain look. The thick creamy formula is easy to apply. Its mixed fragrance of sandalwood and rose is quite refreshing. With its herbal ingredients like Saffron, Aloe Vera, Sandalwood, rose are beneficial for skin too. Only one negative point of the foundation is its limited shade range.

LOTUS HERBALS ECOSTAY FOUNDATION SPF 20:

The nourishing foundation is preservative free, all day wear oil free formula that the skin ultimate weightless coverage. It hydrates the skin, diminishes the appearance of fine lines without clogging pores, delays aging and offers broad spectrum UV protection SPF 30. Suitable for all skin types. It looks very natural on the skin and gives a velvety matte finish. It can cover mild spots on the skin, but for deep spots, you have to use concealers. The packaging is user-friendly and also travel-friendly. The foundation has 5/6 shades to suit all Indian skin tone.

Coloressesnce has quite a good range of makeup products at affordable prices to match Indian skin tones. This long lasting aqua makeup base gives a complete coverage to the skin by the easy to apply formula. It protects the skin from UV rays with its SPF 20. With herbal ingredients, it can moisturize the skin nicely. Its tube packaging is travel-friendly too. What I feel about the foundation that it should be used as makeup base rather a single foundation, as it does not give a good coverage, especially for weddings. But for everyday daytime uses it’s perfect. I advise the oily skin girls to apply a compact powder on it to control the shine.

IBA HALAL CARE PURE SKIN LIQUID FOUNDATION:

A unique ultra-blendable satin smooth formula boosted with Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and rich minerals provides a full coverage covering spots, blemishes and dark circles to give a  flawless look. It gives a matte finish and protects the skin from UV rays with SPF 15. Its pump dispenser makes the product user-friendly and hygienic. The foundation gives a dewy finish and provides a medium to high coverage. It is easily blendable giving natural look and stays for around 2/3 hours and after which it starts flaking off. So, I think it will not be good for a wedding evening, but after the wedding is over you may attend many parties or may meet relatives, then it will work.

If you have combination skinuse compact powder.  on oily areas. And if you have oily skinapply all over the face to prevent shine throughout the day.

  • If you want that on the D-day, your acne scars or blemishes be vanished, use concealer
