Green Tea Charcoal Face Pack:

Though all skin types will be benefitted from this mask, it is especially stellar for oily or combination skin types, as well as those that are prone to breakouts or blackheads.

You can notice positive effect even after just one application. For lasting results, it is recommended to incorporate Green Tea Charcoal mask into your regular skincare routine.

My Experience:

I’ve been using the face mask from the very first day I have received this baby. I use it as the night skin treatment. It’s a black colored powder with no added smell that I like very much. As, synthetic flavors may cause irritation to the skin. I prepare the mask as per brand’s direction.

I noticed after the first use:

  • Smoother, softer skin to touch
  • Lessened the appearance snd size of breakout
  • A deeply cleansed and fresh feel, as well as feeling nourished and hydrated
  • Absorbed excess oil from the T-zone, but didn’t find dryness on the drier parts

If you use this mask regularly it will treat acne and prevent them from coming back. It will help the serums, creams absorb into the skin faster, balance the oil production in the skin. I recommend you to use the mask twice a week to get maximum benefit from it.

NB – Please do a patch test before using the product.

Coffee Mud Mask:

In today’s beauty world clay masks are well known for their incredibly versatile effects on our skin. So, this Coffee Mud mask will definitely become the new best friend of your face. It can work wonders for a lot of common skin issues, from dullness or inflammation to acne or eczema. So, with this Coffee Mud Mask you can give your skin a spa treatment at the cozy corner of your home.

My Experience:

As clay masks act as detoxifying agents, I use the mask after coming back from the work. It has a mild smell of coffee beans that the coffee lovers will definitely love. I use it according to the brand’s direction. When I make the paste I can see the tiny coffee granules in it. As I apply the mask, it gives a cooling sensation on the face.

I noticed after the first use:

• Smoother and softer skin

• A nicely hydrated and detoxified skin with a fresh and relaxed feel

• Brightened and clear skin

• Lessened the size and appearance of acne breakout and zits

• Perfectly balanced the oil in my combination skin without making it too dry

It’s recommended to use the mask twice weekly in the evening to detoxify your skin and give the skin a perfect treatment against the polluted environment. Suitable for every skin type, especially the matured, dull and lifeless skin.

NB – Please do a patch test before using the product.

Overall, these two masks have made me quite happy with the results I have experienced. I think, you might have curious to know which one is my favorite between the two. Though I love them both, my favorite is the Coffee Mud Mask. I love its smell, its cooling impact, its effect on the skin, in a word everything. The Coffee Mud Mask has renewed my skin and given a nice polished look.

Review|Greenberry Organics Detox Charcoal Face Wash.

Hi pretties,

Today I am going to share my views about a product that I have currently incorporated to my daily cleansing ritual. Yup, I am talking about Detox Charcoal Face Wash from one of my favorite brand Greenberry Organics. As we expose ourselves to the polluted air daily, we need to cleanse our face with a cleanser that can cleanse the face thoroughly and deeply. And for that what can be better than a face wash that works against pollution? So, when I received Detox Charcoal Face Wash, Anti pollution|Oil control|Anti acne, I have seen myself in the seventh heaven. I know, now you’re excited to know more about this product. Let’s dive into the review then.

Detox Charcoal Face Wash:

Pollution, debris, seasonal changes affect our skin too much, giving skin irritation, even premature aging. They can also zap your skin of its healthy glow and leave it looking dull in appearance. This Detox Charcoal Face Wash works on the skin double time to detox your skin. First, naturally purifying activated bamboo charcoal helps absorb excess oil and impurities without over drying the skin. Added oils of tea tree and grapefruit help control acne from deep within and also provide an anti-bacterial cover to the skin. Mulberry ext. reduces dark spots and provides brightening effect over continuous usage.

How to apply:

Take the product on the palm as required and spread evenly on wet face. Massage till the lather appears for at least 30-40 seconds and wash off with water.

Price: INR 400/- for 100  ml.

Available on Amazon at a huge discount.

My Experience:

Since the day I have received the product from the brand, I’ve been using this face wash daily after coming back from my work. I think this time is the best one to judge a cleanser if it works on the skin as the brand claims or not. What do you say? And it’s almost two weeks ago I had started using. So, I think this is enough time for a product to be reviewing honestly. Let’s start with the experience.

IMG_20170908_5

I start with splashing my face with some water and then take 3/4 drops of the cleanser on my palm. Then rubbed it together to create a little lather and massage on the face and wash off. Here one thing I don’t like about the face wash is the tingly sensation it gives in my eyes if it gets in. I think it’s the only thing I don’t like about the face wash. Otherwise, I love everything about it, the packaging, the bottle shape, the color and the smell and how it works. Love them all. Yup, it has a very mild but sweet smell that you must love.

After washing off the Charcoal Detox Face Wash, my face not only felt clean, but perfectly balanced. I wash my face at the afternoon and I see it drawing out all impurities and pollutants and even it cleans the makeup too. The Face Wash can remove almost all eye and lip makeup. It washes off the oil too, without making my face dry, rather it gives a soothing and refreshing effect.

Overall, I’m happy with the product. It works the best for the oily and combination skin. But it works on my son’s dry skin too, without making the skin drier. So, I strongly recommend this product to get a softer and healthier glowing skin.

Have you ever tried any charcoal detox facial cleanser? Please comment your experience here. And if you have used this one, please let me know your experience.

The gel is light red with pink undertone. And the fragrance is divine, just like you have grown a thousand roses in your garden. The sweet and gorgeous aroma of rose essential oil is so intense that I feel like going through a holistic stress relief spa therapy. The Body Wash then more a treatment than a mere washing agent.

Review: Ma Earth Botanicals Hair Cleanser

For the first time I am going to review a product from one of my favorite brands Ma Earth Botanicals. They have sent me four products to review them, out of which, I am going to share my experiences on the Hair Cleanser. You know I always look for natural products for my skin and hair. Now, you can see almost everywhere people are running behind the products with natural and organic ingredients. As much we will be in the natural products, the healthier and better will our hair and skin too. The hair will be more manageable, will have less breakage and it will grow longer very easily.

Now, let’s start with the product, the Hair Cleanser from Ma Earth Botanicals.

0204-2017-083976644469019223

As the brand claims,” This gentle hair cleanser contains a unique blend of natural herbs and oils which deeply clean and nourish the scalp. This enriching cleanser is especially beneficial for hair fall and flakiness of the scalp.”

Cruelty-free, SLES free, Paraben free, Sulphate free, No Artificial Coloring, No Synthetic Fragrances.

Key Ingredients:

Distilled Water, Amla, Shikakai, Ritha, Bhringraja, Brahmi, Jojoba Oil, Essential Oils of Rosemary, Thyme, Cedarwood, Peppermint, and Lavender.

Amla: Promotes hair growth, helps strengthens hair shafts, prevents breakage and split ends.

Shikakai: It gently cleans and strengthens hair.

Ritha: Promotes hair growth, softens hair and removes excess oil.

Bhringraja: It helps strength hair and encourages hair growth.

Brahmi: It is known as natural hair thicker and provides the nourishment.

Jojoba Oil: It is the oil whose molecular structure is similar to sebum and hence it helps maintain the scalp’s natural balance. It also adds shine, elasticity and softness to hair.

Rosemary: Helps stimulate hair roots and encourage hair growth. It is also known for its stress relieving properties.

Thyme And Cedarwood: These two essential oils are well-known for their strong anti-bacterial properties and they help promote hair growth.

LRM_EXPORT_20170402_205728

Packaging And Price:

I have received a sample size of 30 ml. It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with silver color screw cap, under which a leakage proof cap is there. As I searched the website, I saw the 230 ml hair cleanser costs Rs 975/-.

My Experience:

I have washed my hair and scalp with this hair cleanser 5 times. The dark brown hair cleanser has a gel like texture that is neither very thick, nor runny. It has a nice relaxing fragrance of all the essential oils mixing together, though it doesn’t stay for long after the shower. I use it as directed by the brand. The cleanser doesn’t make much lather, yet it removes dirt nicely. But it doesn’t wash the oil if you oil before shampoo. I always apply oil at night or at least two hours before I go for shampoo. I have to apply the shampoo twice to wash off the oil completely.

1491272493907.jpg

I have oily scalp with dry hair. It has done well with the scalp and hair too, but it makes my hair more dry. So, the people with dry hair must use a conditioner after. The dandruff is reduced and it is preventing hair loss. Yes, it has done it. Though, at the same time I am using a hair oil from the brand Satthwa ( read the full review here.) which also works. Before at the time of washing my hair, I couldn’t resist my tear seeing the huge processions of my hairs. Now the scenario is totally opposite and I can see very little though, growth of my hair. So, it can be said that what the brand claims is happening.

At the end, I can say if price is not a factor, you can easily go for this shampoo. You will not regret spending your money.

Hope you enjoyed. Let me leave now. Please share your thoughts here in the comment section.
