Luxury Essentials Vanilla Lip Butter: Review, Ingredients and Pictures.

Lip balms take place in everyone’s vanity, whether a student, working woman, or a homemaker and even men too. I myself can’t live without a lip balm. And I have a good stock of them. Today I’m talking about one of them from my stock. It is Vanilla Lip Butter from Luxury Essentials. In my previous posts, you have seen I shared my views about two of their products Skin Detox Charcoal Scrub and Camel Milk and Almond soap. Let me share my views about the lip butter now.

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Vanilla Ext, Olive Oil Almond Oil and Coconut Oil.

Price: INR 150/-.

Net Weight: 8g.

The lip balm comes in a transparent tiny plastic jar with black screw lid under which the brand has provided a protective lid. On the top of the lid the name of the product, brand name, price and weight are mentioned. Though they haven’t mentioned the ingredient list anywhere. But for that, you can ask the owner, Garima anytime. But, it’s my request to her to provide the complete info.

My Experience:

This butter-colored lip balm is solid in consistency. It has a mild mixed scent of coconut oil and vanilla that anyone will love immediately.

It’s like a cake in the jar and you have to rub your fingertip for 2-3 times to take out the required amount and apply on your lips. As I apply what attracts me is the shine it gives to the lips. Mostly I use it at daytime. It gives no greasiness to the lips but hydrates them nicely. I don’t feel any heaviness on my lips and sees my lips to be nourished, preparing them to apply lipsticks. My lips easily get dry whatever the weather is. It works on my dry lips too. And the best part of the lip butter is that it has the natural SPF in the form of oils and butter in it.

Overall, I am really happy with the lip butter regarding its smell and effectiveness. If yo want to buy the lip butter you can visit their Instagram page as they are operating from Instagram now.

My Haircare Experts From Mitti Se: Anti-hairfall Oil and Conditioning Shampoo

Hello pretties,

My today’s post is about my recent haircare products from the brand Mitti Se. When I bought some skincare products from the brand, they sent me two samples to review them, one is Anti-hair fall Oil and the other the Conditioning Shampoo. Let’s dive into the review.

The Brand: Mitti Se

Mitti Se means “From the Earth”. The brand offers Pure Natural and highly effective body care, health, and the household which are free from toxic chemicals and safe for our skin and our earth too.  To know more visit their website.

All their products are 100% Natural & Handmade, Free from harmful chemicals, No Animal testing, Vegetarian, No Added Preservatives, Colors, Fragrance.

Anti-hair fall Oil:

○ Repairs dry and damaged hair.

○ Relieves dandruff.

○ Nourishes & strengthens hair.

○ Relaxes the mind.

Free from Mineral Oil and Parabens.

To Use:

Massage into hair roots 2 to 3 times a week. For best results leave overnight.

Amla, Shikakai, Balchad, Charida, Nagarmotha, Harad, Baheda soaked in Sesame oil and essential oil of Indian Basil.

Herbs can be re-used one time by refilling Sesame or Coconut Oil and allowing it to soak for a week.

Packaging And Price:

The oil comes in a light brown plastic bottle with white flip top cap. The 200 ml oil costs Rs 230/-.

My Experience:

I’ve been using the oil for almost 3 weeks. I am a person who believes that oiling your hair is the best way to keep it nourished and healthy, instead of spending a lot in a spa. I shampoo my hair thrice a week and 2 hours before I apply oil on scalp and hair. The light brown colored oil is light textured and doesn’t make my hair sticky. It’s easy to apply. The oil has a mild mixed smell of the herbs and Basil Oil. As I open the lid I feel relaxed with the scent.

After three weeks of regular usage, I can say that the oil has worked really well. I have oily scalp and dry, frizzy hair. It has reduced my hair fall and has made it shiny and lustrous. The hair strands are manageable now. I can comb it with much ease. I use the shampoo the brand has sent, afterward. Now, let’s talk about the shampoo.

Conditioning Shampoo:

○ Makes hair healthy, strong & lustrous.

○ Revitalizes dull, damaged hair.

○ Regular use significantly improves hair quality.

○ Good cleanser for normal and oiled hair.

○ Good hair conditioner.

○ Regular usage reduces dryness, that may sometime occur after first few washes.

Free from Sulfates and Parabens.

Apply on wet hair, massage gently and rinse.

Hibiscus, Gooseberry, Fenugreek, Shikakai, Natural Surfactant, Grapefruit essence.

Packaging And Price:

The brown powdered shampoo comes in a transparent plastic bottle with black screw cap. 40good  (makes 200 ml) costs Rs 175/-.

My Experience:

The shampoo I’ve used 5 times. The powder has a mixed smell of all herbs among which the smell of fenugreek is strong. I use it as per brand’s direction. Firstly, I wet my scalp and hair, take the required amount on my palm and rub to form a lather. The Very light lather is formed. Then I apply on my scalp and hair and rinse. I have to re-apply the shampoo, as the first wash can’t wash off oils fully.

The oil and shampoo combo have given good results on my hair making it softer and shinier and free of frizziness. I need not use any conditioner too. I am happy with the two products. So much good results and at such an affordable price is the best part of the two. If you are looking for good and effective hair care products, you must give it a try. To buy visit their Facebook page and website.

My Mini Haul From Diya Naturals, The Green Beauty Brand.

There are a number of new brands are coming up in the green beauty world. Today I’m excited to introduce one such brand in front of you, Diya Naturals, a fantastic skincare brand that offers eco-friendly and skin friendly products. This Bangalore-based brand brings for us natural, non-toxic, chemical-free, green beauty products. I purchased two products from the brand, Green Gram, and Clay Cleansing Powder and Hibiscus and Aloe Vera Soap. With these two products, they have sent me a lip balm. I am using them now and I think I have given them enough time to write a review on those products.

Diya Naturals:

All products from Diya Naturals are handcrafted, natural, vegetarian, and are free from palm oil, sulfates, mineral oil or parabens. They make products in small batches using seasonal ingredients, with traditional recipes and use recyclable and reusable packaging materials that contribute to a low carbon footprint. Diya Naturals is planning to introduce a program where they will take back the used containers from their consumers to avail a discount on their next purchase. To know more, visit here.

Cleansing Powder- Green Gram And Clay:

This cleanser is a multitasking product to use on face and body both. It can be used as a face scrub, face pack, and body ubtan. Ideal for combination to oily skin

Green Gram Flour, Oats, Bentonite Clay, Lemon Peel Powder.

Green gram (moong) gently exfoliates while clay absorbs excess oil from your skin. Mix a tsp of powder with a few drops of water, aloe vera juice or rose water to form a paste. Apply the paste on your skin and use as a scrub or mask. Rinse with cold water. Use thrice a week for best results.

The powder comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a white screw cap with all detailed information about the ingredients, price, Mfg date etc.

Price: 30g- Rs 200, 60g- Rs 300, 100g- Rs 450.

My Experience:

The muddy colored powder has a mild scent of green gram and lemon. The smell is quite refreshing. You can easily feel the tiny particles of oats and gram in the powder when you apply it on your skin.

I use it twice a week, once as a scrub and then as the pack. I make the paste as directed by the brand. As the scrub, I apply the paste all over the face and neck and other exposed part like hands, back etc, rub it for 1-2 minutes and rinse off with water. The scrub is soft and gentle and exfoliates the dead cells effectively. After washing my face my skin feels fresh and smooth. It soothes the dry parts of the body and adds a soft glow on the skin. As the mask, I keep it for 10 minutes and wash off when it dries. In both the cases, it acts as an excellent cleanser and removes dirt without causing any irritation to the skin. It brightens the complexion, evens the skin tone and reduces redness too. During summers, due to the heat, my skin reddens easily. This cleanser reduces that redness by calming and hydrating the skin.

Hibiscus And Aloe Vera Soap Bar:

This soap is fragrance-free and can be used for face and body.  The main ingredients are Hibiscus and Aloe Vera.

Hibiscus, which is nicknamed as ‘Botox Plant’ has some great benefits on skin. Hibiscus firms and lifts the skin, exfoliates, and also treats acne, giving smoother and younger looking skin. Aloe Vera can do wonders to your skin. With its anti-inflammatory and cooling properties, Aloe Vera gel soothes sunburnt skin, protects the skin from harsh weather and sun rays, helps retain moisture, heals any skin concerns, like acne, eczema, psoriasis etc.

Packaging And Price:

The soap comes in net potli that can be reused. It costs Rs 250/-

My Experience:

The soap is butter colored with red undertone, that may be due to the hibiscus. It is totally fragrance-free. Only you can smell a basic bar soap kinda smell. I use it both as face and body bar. It nicely cleanses my skin and reduces excess oil from the skin what I badly need during wet summer days. My sensitive and combination skin has nicely accepted the soap. It doesn’t make my skin dry, instead, my skin looks soft and supple.

Pout Potion- Chocolate Cake:

Made with all natural ingredients, these lip balms are designed to keep your lips soft and moisturized all day long. Cocoa butter moisturizes and gives a delightful smell and taste, Olive Oil softens the lips while adding a glossy sheen and cruelty-free Beeswax contains natural SPF 15.

Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Powder.

The pout potion is available in three shapes to suit your mood- heart shape, diya shape, and no shape.

other two shapes. image from Diya Naturals

Packaging and Price:

The lip balm comes in a tiny transparent plastic jar with a screw cap. It costs Rs 200/- for 10g.

My Experience:

The cocoa colored lip balm comes with no shape. It smells like real cocoa. Don’t blame me please, if I eat it! It has a soft, non-sticky consistency that is easy to apply.

The non-tinted lip balm gives a glossy shine on the lips. I use it whenever I feel like. I carry to work too. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the lips. If you have excessive dry lips, it’s for you then. Some days back I went through a dental surgery and for 4-5 days I couldn’t apply any lip balm on my lips and the result is dry, flaky and super pigmented lips. Then I started using it and the pout potion works miraculously. It took only 24 hours to give me soft and smooth skin. The surgery gave me some lip sores which was also healed by applying the lip balm.

Overall, I am totally sold on the products. What’s your thought about the products? Do you want to buy? Then visit their Facebook and Instagram page.

A Review On Camel Milk and Almond Exfoliating Soap From Luxury Essentials

What will you do when you are in deep love with your soaps? Yes, till date the handmade soaps I have used, I am in love with all of them. All the soaps are natural, organic, fresh and handcrafted. Using them is a unique experience for me who didn’t like to use bar soaps. But now, if now you keep bar soaps and body wash gels, I will pick up the bar, provided the bar is 100% natural and free of all chemicals. Let’s come to today’s review now. Today, I am going to talk about a handmade bar soap that the brand Luxury Essentials sent me for reviewing the soap. It is Camel Milk & Almond Exfoliating Soap.

You all know Luxury Essentials is a brand that offers natural, handcrafted, skin friendly products those are free of all harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrance, and colorants. They are now operating from Instagram only but very soon they will start their own website. Visit their store here.

Camel Milk & Almond Exfoliating Soap:

This exfoliating soap contains Camel Milk and Almond as its key ingredients, giving you smoother, younger and radiant skin.

Benefits of The Ingredients:

Camel Milk:

Camel milk is much more effective on the skin than cow milk. Rich in natural AHAs, camel milk helps exfoliate dead skin to reveal new skin cells. lactic Acid in camel milk helps to even skin tone and brighten it up. Loaded with iron and Vitamin A, C and B2, it deeply moisturizes the skin and improves the skin’s elasticity.

Being the storehouse of Vitamin E Almond helps nourish your skin and protect skin from damaging UV rays from the Sun. Almond makes skin soft and smooth naturally.

Packaging and Price:

The soap, wrapped in a transparent plastic with the brand name on it, comes in an attractive gift packaging with a tag on which the ingredient list and the price are handwritten.  The soap costs INR 155/-

My Experience:

The butter colored soap has a sweet and mild scent that is very soothing. It has come with almond particles on the one side of the soap. I have used the soap on my body only because of the sensitivity of my skin. The soap is incredibly gentle and gives no irritation to the skin. I apply it on my wet skin and it gives a good creamy lather. After washing it off I don’t experience any dryness on my skin, rather it leaves my skin soft, radiant. When I rub it on my skin, I can see how nicely it draws out the dirt and oil. And you will get all these benefits at a very reasonable price. Shall I have to mention that I am now a huge fan of this soap? I must say, you need to try it. Where to buy? Go to luxuryessentials.19.

A Review On Herbal Hair Pack From Yami Herbals

You have seen in one of my previous post where I talked about Yami Herbal bath powder. You may read the post here. With the bath powder Shylaja, the person behind Yami Herbal sent a hair powder and today I am going to talk about that. So, let me get into the product now.

Yami Herbal Hair Pack:

The hair pack is 100% chemical free and contains all natural ingredients, like Ritha, Shikakai, Methi, Bakuchi, Nimbu, Bhringraj, Brahmi, Amla, Hibiscus flower, Henna, Madayanti. Experience the spa like hair treatment with this herbal hair pack sitting at home. The hair pack will stop hair fall, reduce dandruff and you will get shiny and lustrous hair with continuous usage.

Now let me tell you the benefits of these ingredients:

Ritha and Shikakai are natural cleansers and prevents hair fall, promoting hair growth. Methi helps in rebuilding hair follicles. It prevents premature hair graying and gives shine to hair. Bakuchi helps in providing nourishment to hair. Nimbu very effectively works on dandruff and helps in removing excess oil from your scalp to help in hair growth. Bhringraj and Brahmi provide everything the hair needs. Amla, Hibiscus flower, Henna, Madayanti act as excellent natural conditioner and give the natural shine and nourish the hair from root to tip besides fixing dandruff problem too.

100% Natural, No Chemical based foaming agent, No Synthetic coloring agent, No side effects.

Directions For Use:

Take about 5 tbs of the pack and mix it with an egg and one spoon of curd and make a thick paste, ensuring that there will be no lump. Apply the mixture all over the scalp and leave for 20 mins and wash off with normal water.

Packaging and Price:

The hair pack comes in a sturdy transparent jar with an orange screw cap. Around the jar on a colorful paper, the name of the product and the brand are printed with other details. With the pack, she is also giving a spoon and a fabric shower cap to wrap the head after the application of hair pack. The 100g pack costs INR 180/-.

My Experience:

After opening the tub you can smell the mixed scent of all the herbs in it. The dark brown colored pack is very soft and easy to mix with any liquid. After receiving the pack I have used it 4 times. First time I mixed with plain water to see the exact effect. Do you want to know what I have seen? Let’s scroll down to know my experience.

I never use it with egg, as I can’t bear the smell. After the first usage each time I mix with curd only. But in both the cases, results are the same. As the powder is soft it can easily be applied on the scalp without any mess. I saw the visible effects from the first usage only. It has made my dry hair soft, smooth and frizz-free. And my oily scalp is no more oily. It gives really a nice spa-like effect. After all 4 usages, my hair fall has totally stopped, and become stronger with less breakage. Here, I want to mention I didn’t use any extra conditioner after washing off the pack. My hair growth also has got its pace. My itchy scalp also gets relieved. Now, I don’t have any dandruff issue, so can’t say about that claim of the brand.

Overall, the hair pack does exactly what the brand claims. If you are tired with your dry, damaged, thin, unhealthy and frizzy hair, it’s your product then. And it’s damn cheap too. So I would recommend you to try it once. You can buy from their Facebook page or you can contact Shylaja on WhatsApp at this number 7358813032.

Detox Your Face with Skin Detox Charcoal Scrub From Luxury Essentials

‘Natural’ and ‘Chemicalfree’ are two words always attract me, while I search about any skin care or haircare product. Because those products give us healthy glowing skin without doing any harm. I recently came to know about such a brand , Luxury Essentials that offers natural and 100% vegetarian products. They have sent me three products, Skin detox charcoal scrub, Skin clear soap (milk & almond) and Vanilla lip butter. I have started using them and now Luxury Essentials has become one of my favourite brands. Out of the three today I am going to share my feelings about Skin detox charcoal scrub. Let’s scroll down.

The Brand: Luxury Essentials:

Luxury Essentials offers exclusively handcrafted, natural skincre products those are skinfriendly and at the same time eco-friendly. They don’t test their products on animals. Currently they are on Instagram only. But their website is coming up soon. To know more explore here.

Skin Detox Charcoal Scrub:

An allnatural detox scrub made with Activated Charcoal powder as the main ingredient.

Key Ingredients:

Aloe Vera, Activated Charcoal Powder, Coconut milk, Vitamin E, Jojoba oil, Frankincense, Sweet Almond oil, Apricot Shell powder, Clove Ext, Olive oil, Tea tree Ext, Wheatgerm, Avocado Ext, Basil essential, Palmarosa, Mint essential.

Directions For Use:

Wet the area, apply the scrub and gently rub the skin for 3-5 minutes in circular motion repeatedly. Wash off the residue with normal water.

Packaging and Price:

The scrub comes in a transparent tub with golden screw lid and an inner protection lid. The other info and the name of the brand and product are printed on the label outside the jar. The packaging is travel friendly and user friendly. The 50g jar costs INR 300/-.

100% vegetarian, Not tested on animals, Sustainable.

My Experience:

The steel gray colored scrub has a mild scent in which I can’t smell any specific ingredient seperately. But the scent is natural and doesn’t irritate the sensitive nose. The scrub is very gentle and soft with small granules and easy to apply on the face. If you want, can use daily.

I’ve been using it for one week as per the brand’s direction. As it has creamy texture, I can apply it on with ease. I apply on my face and neck both. Seeing it creamy texture I thought the scrub will not suit my combination skin. But, after washing I feel no creamy residue, instead It has absorbed the extra oil from the skin, but doesn’t make my skin dry. I am absolutely happy with the result. The scrub started working from the very first use, giving me a smooth, soft and detoxed skin. After 4-5 uses I can see a clear and toned face of mine. I generally use the scrub after coming back from the work place and when I wash it off, can experience its drawing out the dirt and pollutants of my skin.

Overall, I am satisfied with its result. I recommend you all who are tired of your pale and uneven skin tone. You try it once and your skin will be happy. To buy visit luxuryessential.19
